Annwyl Riant,
Yn dilyn menter y Llywodraeth yngln â’r Cytundeb Ysgol-Cartref, danfonaf gopi o gytundeb yr ysgol hon at rieni/gwarcheidwaid pob disgybl yn Ysgol Carreg Hirfaen.
Lluniwyd y cytundeb er mwyn helpu eich plentyn i ddatblygu mewn amgylchedd cefnogol, hapus yn yr ysgol ac yn y cartref ac i alluogi’r plentyn i wneud yn fawr o’r cyfleoedd sydd ar gael yn ystod ei (h)amser yn yr ysgol.
Gobeithiwn y gwna disgyblion o Flwyddyn Tri i fyny arwyddo’r cytundeb. Gofynnir yn garedig i rieni egluro’r cytundeb i’r plentyn. Disgwylir i rieni pob plentyn arwyddo’r ddogfen.
Mae’r ddogfen yn ffordd i bawb ohonom ymroi i weithio mewn partneriaeth mewn cyfnod pwysig yn addysg a datblygiad eich plentyn.
Gobeithiwn wrth arwyddo’r cytundeb y ceir cyswllt effeithiol rhwng yr ysgol a’r cartref a fydd yn arwain at well dealltwriaeth o’n hymrwymiadau. Credwn y bydd hyn yn fuddiol i’ch plentyn yn y dyfodol.
Edrychwn ymlaen at bartneriaeth hir a hapus gyda chi.

Following the Government’s Home-School Agreement initiative, I am forwarding a copy of our school’s agreement to parents/guardians of all pupils at Ysgol Carreg Hirfaen.
This agreement is designed to help your child develop in supportive, happy surroundings, both at school and at home so that he/she can make the most of the opportunities available during his/her time at school. It is hoped that every pupil from Year Three onwards will sign the agreement after it has been explained to them by their parents. Parents of all children are expected to sign the document.
This agreement is a way in which we can all commit ourselves to work in partnership in an important period of your child’s education and development.
We hope that by signing this agreement an effective link between the home and the school is forged leading to a better understanding of our commitments. It is viewed as being advantageous to your child in the future.
We look forward to a long and happy partnership with you.
