Feirws ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth,’ ‘Scarlett fever’,’ Strep-A’ Virus

 

Carwn dynnu eich sylw at achosion o feirws ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth’, ‘Scarlett Fever’ a ‘Strep-A’ sydd wedi eu darganfod ar blant sydd yn mynychu ysgol Carreg Hirfaen yn ystod yr wythnos diwethaf.

Mae’r tri feirws yn heintus ac yn arddangos symptomau o wddf tost, tymheredd uchel, wlserau ceg, spotiau ar y dwylo neu’r traed sydd hefyd yn cosi.

Os bod eich plentyn yn arddangos symptomau neu os bod angen mwy o gyngor arnoch ynglyn a’r symptomau yna awgrymwn i chi ymweld eich meddyg teulu am arweiniad.

 

I would like to inform you that pupils here at Carreg Hirfaen have recently contracted viruses relating to ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth’, Strep-A and Scarlett fever.

These viruses display the following symptoms: sore throat, mouth ulcers, temperature, loss of appetite and itchy spots on the hands and feet. If you have any concerns regarding exposure to these viruses or need further advice relating to symptoms then please consult with your GP.
