Pupil Wellbeing Survey - Spring 2026
During the Spring Term 2026, pupils in Years 3 to 6 completed our annual Pupil Wellbeing Survey. The survey provided valuable feedback on pupils' experiences of school, including wellbeing, safety, learning, relationships and the opportunities available to them. A total of 69 pupils took part.
What Pupils Told Us
Pupils Enjoy School
The survey showed that pupils have a very positive view of school. Most pupils said they enjoy coming to school, feel happy in their learning and believe they are achieving well.
Pupils Feel Safe and Supported
Almost all pupils reported that they feel safe in school and know who to speak to if they have a worry or concern. Pupils identified teachers, support staff and family members as trusted adults who provide support when needed.
Positive Relationships
Pupils feel that staff listen to them, value their opinions and treat them fairly and respectfully. Responses also showed that pupils believe their views matter and that pupil voice is an important part of school life.
Learning Experiences
Most pupils said they know what to do if they find work challenging and feel supported by teachers to improve their learning. Pupils also reported that lessons are engaging and enjoyable.
Health and Wellbeing
Pupils recognised the school's efforts to promote healthy lifestyles and appreciated the many opportunities available to take part in physical activity, sport and outdoor learning.
What Pupils Would Like to See More Of
Pupils shared several ideas to help make the school even better. Common suggestions included:
- Additional playground and outdoor equipment
- More sporting opportunities
- Further educational visits and trips
- More outdoor learning experiences
- Additional shaded and sheltered outdoor areas
We are grateful for these suggestions and will consider them as part of our future school improvement planning.
Supporting Wellbeing
Many pupils reported that they do not regularly worry about things. Where concerns were raised, they were typically related to friendships, family matters or wanting to do well in school. Encouragingly, pupils overwhelmingly stated that they know who to turn to for help and support.
Our Next Steps
In response to pupil feedback, we will continue to:
- Promote positive wellbeing and emotional health.
- Support pupils in developing positive relationships and friendships.
- Listen to pupil voice through surveys, class discussions and the School Council.
- Explore opportunities to enhance outdoor learning and play experiences.
- Provide a broad and engaging range of educational, sporting and enrichment activities.
Conclusion
The results of the Spring 2026 Pupil Wellbeing Survey are extremely positive. Pupils report that they are happy, feel safe and value the support they receive from staff. Their feedback continues to play a vital role in shaping school improvement and ensuring that every child feels included, respected and able to thrive.
Thank you to all pupils who shared their views and helped us continue to develop our school community.
