Mae angen rhifau terfynnol arnom erbyn 12 o'r gloch pnawn yfory o'r plant hynny sydd am fynd i'r Panto Nadolig yn Theatr y Lyric dydd Mawrth nesaf. 
I gadarnhau presenoldeb eich plentyn ar y trip i'r Panto mae angen i chi wneud taliad am y trip ar Parentpay a danfon y ffurflen ganiatad wedi ei chwblhau yn ol i'ch athrawes ddosbarth. 
Ni ellir archebu tocynnau ar ol pnawn yfory. 

We need to have final numbers by 12 o'clock tomorrow afternoon of pupils who wish to attend the Christmas Panto at Theatr y Lyric, Carmarthen next Tuesday.
To confirm your child's attendance on the trip you will need to make the payment on Parentpay and return the completed permission form to your class teacher by 12 noon tomorrow afternoon.
Tickets for the Panto cannot be ordered after this deadline tomorrow.

Cyngerdd Nadolig Gan fod y Sioe Nadolig yn dechrau am 6.30pm nos yfory carwn i'n disgyblion gyrraedd yno rhwng 6pm a 6.10pm yn eu gwisgoedd. Bydd y drysau yn agor i'r cyhoedd am 6pm a phris mynediad i oedolion yn £5 y pen. Bydd mynediad i blant oed cynradd ac uwchradd yn rhad ac am ddim. Derbynnir arian parod yn unig wrth y drws. Bydd y PTA yn cynnal raffl Hamperi Nadolig ar y noson - gellir prynu tocynnau wrth y drws yn y brif fynedfa. Gellir defnyddio maes parcio'r coleg i barcio yn rhad ac am ddim. Ar ddiwedd y sioe gofynnwn i rhieni gasglu eu plant oddi wrth staff dosbarth eu plant. Edrychwn ymlaen i'ch gweld nos yfory. ********************************************************************************************************************** Christmas Show As the Christmas Show will begin at 6.30pm tomorrow night we would like our pupils to arrive there between 6pm and 6.10pm in their costumes. The doors will open to the public at 6pm and admission for adults will be £5 per person. Entry for primary and secondary aged children will be free. Payment will be cash only at the door. The PTA will be holding a Christmas Hamper raffle on the evening - tickets can be bought at the door in the main entrance. The college car park can be used to park free of charge. At the end of the show we kindly ask parents to collect their children from their class teachers. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night.

CINIO NADOLIG - CHRISTMAS DINNER

Mae Cinio Nadolig Carreg Hirfaen yn cael ei gynnal ar ddydd Mawrth y 19eg 2023 AC NID ar ddydd Mercher yr 20fed fel a nodwyd ddoe ar neges i'n rhieni oddiwrth Adran Arlwyo'r Sir. 

Mae'n bwysig nodi hefyd bod angen i bob rhiant archebu Cinio Nadolig i'w plant ymlaen llaw trwy App ParentPay yr Ysgol. 

Carreg Hirfaen's Christmas Dinner has been arranged for Tuesday, December 19th 2023 AND NOT for Wednesday the 20th as stated yesterday in a message to our parents from the Authority's  Catering Department.

It is also important to note that ALL parents will need to book their children's Christmas Dinner IN ADVANCE via the School ParentPay App.

Feirws ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth,’ ‘Scarlett fever’,’ Strep-A’ Virus

 

Carwn dynnu eich sylw at achosion o feirws ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth’, ‘Scarlett Fever’ a ‘Strep-A’ sydd wedi eu darganfod ar blant sydd yn mynychu ysgol Carreg Hirfaen yn ystod yr wythnos diwethaf.

Mae’r tri feirws yn heintus ac yn arddangos symptomau o wddf tost, tymheredd uchel, wlserau ceg, spotiau ar y dwylo neu’r traed sydd hefyd yn cosi.

Os bod eich plentyn yn arddangos symptomau neu os bod angen mwy o gyngor arnoch ynglyn a’r symptomau yna awgrymwn i chi ymweld eich meddyg teulu am arweiniad.

 

I would like to inform you that pupils here at Carreg Hirfaen have recently contracted viruses relating to ‘Hand, Foot and Mouth’, Strep-A and Scarlett fever.

These viruses display the following symptoms: sore throat, mouth ulcers, temperature, loss of appetite and itchy spots on the hands and feet. If you have any concerns regarding exposure to these viruses or need further advice relating to symptoms then please consult with your GP.

Y tymor hwn bydd ein Nosweithiau Rhieni unwaith eto yn cael eu cynnal yn neuadd yr ysgol - wyneb i wyneb gydag athrawes ddosbarth eich plentyn. Bydd cyfle gennych i bori llyfrau gwaith eich plentyn yn gyntaf cyn trafod ei gynnydd/chynnydd a'r camau nesaf yn y dysgu efo'r athrawes.

Bydd y nosweithiau yn rhedeg rhwng 3.30pm a 6.30pm. Byddwch yn medru archebu slot amser ar gyfer cyfarfod eich athro dosbarth trwy ein system parents-booking.com bydd yn agor heno am 6.30pm.

This term our Parents' Evenings will be held in person with your child's class teacher at the school. You will have the opportunity to browse your child's workbooks before discussing their progress and next steps in learning with the teacher.

Both evenings will run from 3.30pm until 6.30pm. You will be able to book a time slot for meeting your class teacher through our parents-booking.com system which will open tonight at 6.30pm.

Mae achosion o Strep-A wedi eu canfod yn yr ysgol. Byddwch yn wyliadwrus o'r symptomau.
